About Me

The Beginning

of the new me

Hi, my name is Paisit Wongsupphaluk. My nickname is Imm. I’m Thai, and I live in Bangkok. In 2015, I had a chance to study at a university in the United Kingdom for a year, and that was the beginning of my passion.

Every main holiday and a week-long break from classes, I will travel with friends. My friends assigned me to make the itinerary, which I don’t know why me, but I was happy to do it because it’s challenging to make a good plan that doesn’t miss out on a thing. Our first trip turned out pretty good, so making an itinerary became my responsibility for the other trips as well…haha.

Within a year, I had visited more than 10 countries. I love the feeling of experiencing new things, which reminds me the world is huge, there’s a lot that I haven’t seen yet. But I will come to discover with my own eyes. Traveling is my passion now. When I came back to Thailand, I’ve started to travel more often, both in Thailand and abroad, if time allows because I’m also working full-time in a company.

WELCOME TO

THAITRAV

When I have a trip, especially when traveling abroad, I will spend a lot of time researching before making a solid plan. Because I love traveling independently rather than buying a tour so that I have total freedom to do things on my own terms and I know that I would have a low chance to come back to some countries because of limited budget and time. Therefore, I do my best to research to ensure that I don’t miss stunning places and also tasty foods.

I take this into account when I create this website. I understand the accuracy of travel information can significantly impact the trip. In particular, the official language of Thailand is Thai, which means authentic and updated sources are in Thai. This could be one of the barriers that make your trip tricky, costly, and untimely. Even I’m a local, I still take a lot of time to get the right and the latest information.

WHAT WILL YOU

FIND

AT THAITRAV

The purpose of this website is simple. To be a reliable source for Thailand travel guide. Using my own experiences to provide insightful information to foreigners who wish to visit Thailand independently. Using some infographics to supplement content to make it easier to reference quickly, instead of having long writing.

To the point, this website is a Trip Planner that provides recommended places, travel tips, free plans, and paid plans. They are tailor-made travel guides that offer sufficient detail so that you can choose to follow the guidance or you can use the information to customize your trip to suit your own agenda.

I believe you will surprise by the amount of detail provided in the plans but still easy to understand and follow because of infographics. That will save you a lot of time researching, save a lot of money by not buying tour packages, and ultimately you’re still in total control of everything.

Last

BUT NOT

LEAST

I hope you like my website, contents, infographics, and plans. Moreover, when the COVID-19 pandemic gets better and Thailand is ready to reopen for all tourists, I hope you decide to travel to Thailand and have a great time here. Lastly, please accept my apologies if there are mistakes in English as it is my second language.
