22 Best Islands in Thailand
Table of Contents
According to Thailand’s geography, all islands in Thailand can be grouped into 3 coasts,
i. East Coast in Eastern Region (Gulf of Thailand), i.e., Samet Island, Chang Island
ii. East Coast in Southern Region (Gulf of Thailand), i.e., Samui Island, Phangan Island
iii. West Coast in Southern Region (Andaman Sea), i.e., Phuket Island, Phi Phi Island
If you are planning for a trip to Thailand, I believe you must have heard some of these 22 islands, and you probably already put some into your bucket lists, such as Phuket island, Samui island, Phi Phi island, and Phangan island. However, you may wonder where these islands are in Thailand and what they offer. Therefore, as you can see in the infographic map above, I classify the 22 islands into 4 main offerings:
1) Crowded, Best Nightlife, Parties, Bars
2) Uncrowded, Peaceful, Quieter
3) Best spot for Snorkeling / Scuba
4) Hiking Trail, Waterfall Trail
By the way, in Thai language Koh or Ko means island. So, all Thailand’s island names start with Koh or Ko. For example, Ko Phuket, Ko Samet, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Phangan. However, I will use Ko in this post because Google Maps seems to use Ko more than Koh.
One more thing, I wrote about the best time to visit islands in Thailand. That article is related to this one, and I’m sure you’ll find it helpful as you plan your trip to Thailand.
East Coast in Eastern Region (Gulf of Thailand)
1. Ko Kut (or Ko Kood)
Ko Kut is my favorite in the East region. I love the stunning beaches with crystal clear blue water. The island is famous among Thais but not that crowded yet, so the beaches are still peaceful and quiet.
Perhaps, because Ko Kut is quite far from Bangkok, you need 6-7 hours to reach Ko Kut, and it doesn’t have many super-budget bungalows/hotels like Ko Samet and Ko Chang.
Some areas still relatively undeveloped, which is really good if you want to fade away from the city. Ko Kut is ranked as the 4th biggest island in Thailand, and there are many things to explore. So, to get the best experience here, you should ride a motorbike to roam around the island by yourself, which means motorbike rental is probably the best option.
For example, visiting and eating at the fishing villages, hiking to several waterfalls, and kayaking at Klong Chao (or Klong Jao) mangrove swamp. Snorkeling is also available, but coral reefs aren’t that beautiful as the other islands on the South Coast.
However, suppose you don’t ride a motorbike, you can hire Songthaew, but it might be pricy (1500 – 2000 baht/day/Songthaew, hold up to 8-10 people.) Therefore, I suggest you consider buying a package tour instead.
2. Ko Mak
It is the most peaceful island in the East region. Ko Mak is small, it doesn’t have many accommodations and restaurants like Ko Chang. Travelers visiting Ko Mak will enjoy a slow life, watching the sunset on the beautiful beaches and drinking at small and cozy bars.
One of the highlights is the 500-meter wooden bridge in the sea surrounded by greenery and beaches named “Saphan Su Kwan” which means the dreaming bridge. The bridge actually belongs to the “Kohmak Cinnamon Art Resort and Spa”, but anyone can access the bridge for FREE. It’s an excellent place to have a panorama view of the blue sea.
Ko Mak has a few ATMs, so it’s better to carry some cash with you for local shops like motorbike rental. However, of course, restaurants and resorts accept credit card payments, but they might charge 2-3% fee.
3. Ko Chang
Ko Chang is the 3rd largest island in Thailand after Phuket and Samui. The majority of the terrain is a jungle-clad mountain making it one of the highest amounts of rainfall per year.
Ko Chang is very popular because it has plenty of activities to do. For example, exploring coral reefs within Mu Ko Chang National Marine Park, taking a gondola ride through mangroves at a fishing village (don’t miss this, it’s so beautiful), and hiking trails to waterfalls.
Also, having a whole range of accommodation, from budget beach huts to luxury resorts. Among hundreds of choices, I would like to recommend one that I recently visited in July 2020. It has an outstanding elegant wooden design at a reasonable price, Santhiya Tree Ko Chang.
If you like to visit Ko Chang, I find this page “iamkohchang” has excellent information; transportations, maps, beaches, restaurants, etc.
4. Ko Samet
Ko Samet has numerous beautiful beaches, but the most famous one is Sai Kaew Beach that has its long reputation for the fine white sand beach with clear water. It is a perfect weekend escape from Bangkok because it only takes about 3 hours for a private transfer (4 hours for public transportation)
Most beaches have plenty of restaurants & bars with fire dancing shows at night on the beaches. That excited shows attract a large crowd of spectators, so if you’re looking for partying, Ko Samet nightlife is definitely your thing.
Another good point is you can easily travel around the island, there is Songthaews all along the main road.
5. Ko Lan (or Ko Larn)
To be honest, I’m not a big fan of Ko Lan, but I still visited it twice lol. This tiny island doesn’t have a lot of things to offer, however the beaches are quite nice. Considering that Ko Lan is really close to Pattaya, so I think it could be a decent choice for those who plan to stay in Pattaya for days/weeks to spend a few days or a one-day trip on Ko Lan.
However, you might find it pretty crowded because it is easy to cross over to Ko Lan from Pattaya Bali Hai Pier. It takes only 45 minutes by ferry or just 20 minutes by speed boat.
East Coast in Southern Region (Gulf of Thailand)
6. Ko Tao and Ko Nang Yuan
Ko Tao in English means “Turtle Island” because this island is the inhabitant of green and hawksbill sea turtles, and its shape also looks like a turtle if you seen it from Ko Phangan.
When you visit Ko Tao, you must visit Ko Nang Yuan as well because it is just 1 kilometer away and said to be one of the world’s most beautiful islands.
These two islands have natural beauty beaches and bays with stunning shallow coral reefs and marine life through the crystal clear water. That makes the islands perfect for snorkeling sites and scuba diving.
Ko Tao also offers many great mountain viewpoints such as Mango Viewpoint which is easy to reach. However, the most popular one would be Nang Yuan Viewpoint as you can see in the picture.
For in-depth information about the islands, check this website for Ko Tao Complete Travel Guide. It provides such great information and a lot of nice pictures that I’m sure you will be eager to visit Ko Tao and Ko Nang Yuan.
7. Ko Phangan
Full Moon Party? That’s right, Ko Phangan is one of the best islands that held the best beach party in the world. Because of the Full Moon Party, Ko Phangan attracts more than 1 million tourists a year. There could be up to 30,000 people heading to Hadd Rin (Rin beach) for the Full Moon Party during the peak season. However, now the party is suspended to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
I know Ko Phangan becomes really famous because of the Full Moon Party, but it doesn’t mean its naturals are not charming. Besides the nightlife and white sand beaches, there many other attractions such as Than Sadet National Park, Heath & Wellness Yoga retreat, a hundred-year-old temple and more to discover.
8. Ko Samui
I believe many of you have heard of and perhaps even visited Ko Samui. It’s the 2nd largest island in Thailand and a tourist favorite, so that the island has its own international airport. This island is relatively developed, so it offers a lot of things to do and places to visit.
Ko Samui has more than 15 beaches. The most beautiful and popular one is Chaweng Beach, which offers many accommodation options, also bars and restaurants for your best daytime and nightlife.
Other activities to do include shopping at Fisherman’s Village Walking Street, Lamai Night Plaza, and even at a big department store like Central Festival Samui. Visiting the Big Buddha at Wat Phra Yai and Guan-Yu shrine. Trying traditional Thai Massages and Spas.
However, if you want snorkeling, Ko Samui doesn’t offer a great spot. Therefore, I would suggest you go to the nearby islands, which are Ko Tao and Ko Nang Yuan that offer one of the best snorkeling sites in the Gulf of Thailand.
One more destination that most Samui visitors will go to is Ang Thong National Marine Park. The national park is an archipelago of 42 islands. It features towering limestone mountains, thick jungle, white-sand beaches, waterfalls, hidden caves, and lakes to be explored. As a national park, only government-approved tour boats may enter Ang Thong, you can book tours on Ko Samui, Ko Phangan or Ko Tao.

West Coast in Southern Region (Andaman Sea)
9. Ko Chang (in Ranong province)
Do not get confused with Ko Chang in Trat province in the Eastern region. This Ko Chang is in Ranong province located in the Andaman Sea. Its natural is beautiful, the water is clear. However, I think what makes Ko Chang does not that popular because the beaches are mixed with black sand. Local islanders said the black sand happens naturally because the island is rich in iron ore.
Anyway, if you prefer a quiet and undeveloped island for truly living close to nature, Ko Chang could be your dream destination. Since there are no luxury hotels, only low-cost accommodations (around 300 – 600 baht/night) and very few people visit the island so it become an excellent place to enjoy a simple and peaceful life.
More pictures and videos are on this Ko Chang Official Facebook. Even though it is in Thai and not active much, but the page still has plenty of beautiful pictures and superb videos, so you can explore more whether the island really suits you.
10. Ko Phayam
Ko Phayam locates just next to Ko Chang but it’s more popular because the beaches are more beautiful, to be honest! The island offers a broader range of hotels, restaurants and bars than Ko Chang. However, Ko Phayam is still relatively peaceful and most visitors are foreigners.
The best sunset spot on Ko Phayam is on Aow Yai (Yai Gulf) because the gulf faces the sun directly in the evening when it begins to fall below the horizon. All the gulfs are not that far from each other, it takes about 15 mins by motorbike.
One of the places here that you must visit is the Hippy Bar at Khao Kwai Gulf. This fantastic and strange bar is built entirely of driftwood. The setting is lovely, the foods and drinks are good, the atmosphere is peaceful and quiet. So, I highly recommended the Hippy Bar for everyone who comes to Ko Phayam.
11. Ko Surin
Ko Surin or Mu Ko Surin (Mu in Thai means “many”) is a Thai National Park consisting of five islands. The main islands are Ko Surin Nuea and Ko Surin Tai, and the other three are Ko Ri, Ko Khai and Ko Klang.
Mu Ko Surin is closed during the rainy seasons. The annual closure periods may vary from year to year. Typically, the close period is around 16th May – 15th October, but the date is subject to a weather condition.
The two nearest airports are
- Ranong Airport (UNN): It’s about 100 km away. People usually stay at Kuraburi Town in Phang-nga province, then take a speedboat to the islands in 1 hour. However, Ranong Airport is quite small, so there is not a lot of flight options.
- Phuket International Airport (HKT): It’s roughly 200 km away. If you land in Phuket, the best way to get to the islands is by booking a scuba diving or snorkeling tour. It takes about 3 hours (2 hours on the road to reach Khao Lak pier and then take the ferry for another 1 hour to reach Ko Surin). The tour typically arranges everything for you, pick up from hotel, ferry, diving equipment, meals, and back to the hotel.
Mu Ko Surin is probably the best diving and snorkeling spot in Thailand because of the diversity of marine life and corals. Another check-in list is Moken Village – Mokens are traditionally nomadic sea people.
Their community has been hit by two disasters, Tsunami in 2004 and the big fire in 2019. Before getting hit by Tsunami, their houses were on the water. But now, the village is rebuilt further in the land on Ko Surin Tai by park authorities.
If you’re looking for tour operators, I have two to recommend, SeaStar and LoveAndaman. They offer various trips to many islands on the Andaman sea. I have checked on Thai Webboard; these two operators have excellent service and receive positive feedbacks from most customers.
12. Ko Similan
Ko Similan or Mu Ko Similan is also a National Park, and the islands are an archipelago of 11 islands. Mu Ko Similan is also closed during the rainy season. Same as Mu Ko Surin, the close period is 16th May – 15th October.
Similan and Surin islands are famed for their natural beauty, however if you wonder which islands you should visit? Ok, let take this as a piece of advice, “Some said if you prefer the underwater world, go to Surin islands. But if you prefer the beaches, go to Similan.”
If you love both and unable to decide, then go to both islands! hehe. By the way, I personally love this video, it’s fun and real. The video belongs to Three Thai Bloggers “The Island Girl” that they recently visited Ko Similan in March 2021.
Actually, Similan still offers a good snorkeling spot. However, the crystal-clear blue waters with the white & soft sand beaches of Similan islands are exceptional beauty. Plus, the superb viewpoints on the top of Similan makes the islands become the dream destination for beach lovers.
Unfortunately, this National Park is suffering from too many tourists. Ko Tachai, one of 11 archipelago islands, is closed for years to continue the beach and bay’s natural rehabilitation. To solve the overcrowded visitors, the park authorities limited the number of tourists to Similan Islands to 3,325 people a day in 2019. Before the limitation, the visitors could be up to 7,000 – 10,000 people a day!!!
Even though the limitation of the number of visitors is applied, Similan islands are still touristy. But of course, there is no party or beer on the beaches.
13. Ko Phuket
Phuket is the biggest island in Thailand with more than 18 beautiful beaches, Phuket becomes a major tourist destination that attracts over 10 million foreign visitors every year. It has its own airport naming “Phuket International Airport”, IATA code is “HKT”. Since the island is big, it takes you about 1.5 hours from the airport to Phuket Old Town by Airport Bus (100 baht).
One of the highlight places is Promthep Cape, a breathtaking views for the sunset, located at Ra Wai Beach.
If you have seen the picture of planes landing in Phuket with a beautiful beach in the background, you must come to Mai Khao Beach.
If you prefer a quieter beach with stunning white sand and clear water, come to Freedom Beach (Hidden Beach). It’s not far from Patong Beach. You can reach Freedom Beach by land. There are two entrances, one is public so it’s free, and another is private which costs 200 baht/person. Or you can buy a long-tail boat trip to Freedom Beach which costs about 600-800 baht/person for a round trip
Another must-visit place is Patong Beach. It is probably the most famous beach in Phuket so you can expect a lot of people here. Patong Beach offers plenty of hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, bars, street performances, live music and more. If you’re looking for a fun night out in Phuket, Bangla Road (Thanon Bangla) in Patong beach is the best place.
Besides all the beaches, don’t forget to stroll around Phuket Old Town, famous for its Sino-Portuguese buildings, the oldest hotel in Phuket, and cultural heritage. Last but not least, eating at local restaurants in the town.
14. Ko Yao Noi and Ko Yao Yai
Ko Yao is a district in Phang Nga Province that consists of two main islands, Ko Yao Noi and Ko Yao Yai, and several surrounding islets. Most of Ko Yao islanders are rice farmers and fishermen, so you could experience locals’ way of life.
These islands are located just 30 mins away from Ko Phuket but they are much lesser people and a majority of visitors are foreigners. Besides beautiful and peaceful beaches, the islands actually offer a wide range of hotels, cafés and bars. You can either choose a small bungalow at an affordable price or stay in 5-star luxury hotels.
Ko Yao Noi is more developed than Ko Yao Yai. Some government offices such as a police station, bank and hospital are on Ko Yao Noi, plus the 7-11 convenience store. So if you prefer quieter places, you should aim for Ko Yao Yai. However, why not visit both islands since they are right next to each other. The best way to roam on the islands is motorbike rental. Still, Songthaew and private Songthaew are also available on both islands.
Next to Ko Yao Noi, there is a small island but beautiful names Ko Hong. You can buy a day trip to visit the island from Ko Yao Noi or even from Phuket or from Krabi mainland.
15. Ko Mai Thon
Ko Mai Thon is a private island located southeast of Phuket, only 15 mins from Phuket by speedboat. Since it is a private island, it limits the number of visitors to 400 people/day (data as of Jan 2021). So that you can’t get to Ko Mai Thon by yourself, booking a one-day trip provided by the travel agency “Love Andaman” is the only option to be there.
As I check from many Thai sources (March 2021), only Love Andaman provides a Ko Mai Thon tour. Other agencies may take you around Ko Mai Thon for snorkeling, but they won’t drop you on the main island.
FB: www.facebook.com/loveandaman/
Website: http://www.loveandaman.com/
This small island offers you a relaxing ambiance, quiet beach, blue water, green hill viewpoint and beautiful coral reefs. This island is an excellent choice for escaping from crowded Phuket (when Thailand re-open for tourism).
16. Ko Phi Phi
Ko Phi Phi is actually a small archipelago. Phi Phi is a group of six islands, the two main islands are Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Lee. Phi Phi Don is the biggest one and offers various choices of hotels, restaurants and bars. If you plan to stay overnight, Phi Phi Don is the only island that has the accommodations. So it could be pretty crowded on Phi Phi Don, but on the other hand, make it a good place for nightlife and dining.
Even Phi Phi Don is the biggest among the six islands, but it’s still relatively small (approximately 20 times smaller than Phuket). There is no motorbike rental, no Songthaew, so we just have to walk all over the island or take a long-tail boat ride between all the beaches. Don’t forget to hike to the Phi Phi Don viewpoint to take the iconic shot of 2 bays view.
Phi Phi Lee is definitely everyone’s dream destination. You can find the most fabulous beaches and water with limestone mountain cliffs in the background. These combinations give the tourist a breathtaking view. If you wondering how beautiful Phi Phi is, check this Thai Blogger Facebook, “My Life My Travel.” They have plenty of beautiful shots.
One of the world’s most famous beaches “Maya Bay” is located in Phi Phi Lee. As the filming location for the 2000 movie “The Beach” starring Leonardo di Caprio. However, Maya Bay has temporarily closed since 2019 for rehabilitation. The rumor said the bay will be re-open soon in 2021, but till March 2021, it still remains close.
Besides Maya Bay, other bays such as Pileh Bay (Pileh Lagoon), Loh Samah Bay, Viking Cave still offer the natural wonder of white sand beaches and crystal clear blue water surrounded by the mountain cliffs. Plus, the best snorkeling spot.
According to the National Park news in 2021, some parts of Phi Phi islands will be closed (Pileh Lagoon, Viking Cave) during the monsoon period from 1st June – 31st July.
17. Ko Lanta and Ko Rok
Ko Lanta is a pretty big island (27 km long) that consists of two islands, Ko Lanta Noi and Ko Lanta Yai, but connected by Siri Lanta Bridge. Therefore, so hiring a motorbike would be the best way to explore the whole island.
Ko Lanta is very close to Krabi mainland. You can take a ferry from Hua Hin Pier in Krabi province (do not confuse this pier with Hua Hin Beach in Prachuap Khiri Khan province) to Ko Lanta in just 15 minutes. The ferry will drop you at Ko Lanta Noi, then you can cross to Ko Lanta Yai using that bridge because all the attractions are in Ko Lanta Yai.
It’s a big island but easy to access because there is only one main road built parallelly along the west coast where all the beaches are. I would recommend Khlong Dao and Long Beach if you want to be close to many restaurants and accommodations. For those who prefer quieter beaches, you can go further to the south.
Mu Ko Lanta National Park is located at the end of the road at the south, hiking and visiting the lighthouse. By the way, don’t forget to visit Ko Lanta Old Town on the east coast as well but do not expect sandy beaches on this side.
Another recommendation is to take a beautiful day trip to Ko Rok. As it’s known for fine-grained white sand beaches, clear water and a good spot for snorkeling. However, Ko Rok will close in the middle of May and re-open in the middle of October every year.
18. Ko Muk or Ko Mook
This peaceful island is located in Trang province. You can take a direct flight from Bangkok to Trang Airport. At the airport, you will find some tour kiosks for taxi or minivan service to Khuan Tung Ku Pier (1 hour), then take a local ferry to Ko Muk Pier (30 mins).
That local ferry will leave around 12:00 PM, which departs only once a day. Therefore, if you can’t catch that ferry, you have to hire a private long-tail boat to Ko Muk instead. The private one costs about 700+ baht per boat. When you arrive on the island, there will be sidecar motorbike taxis that you can hire to drop you at the hotel. It is a signature ride in Ko Muk.
To be honest, Ko Muk offers lovely and quiet beaches, but the beaches aren’t beautiful as Similan and Phi Phi islands. Still, there is an iconic attraction on Ko Muk that makes this island famous, the Emerald Cave or Tham Morakot or Mystery Beach. The Emerald Cave can be reached by kayak or swim through a pitch-black tunnel through the mountain.
After 80-100 meters of swimming (don’t worry, there is a rope guiding you through the tunnel), you will arrive at one of the most unique and incredible places in Thailand. A small beach surrounded by towering cliffs that are covered with tropical greenery will make your trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
However, the Emerald Cave can be relatively crowded on holiday because other nearby islands also offer a day trip to explore this Unseen Thailand.
In case that you wanna see more beautiful pictures of Emerald Cave to see how stunning it is, check out this Facebook; it belongs to a Thai Blogger, “Tiewleak.”
19. Ko Kradan
Ko Kradan is in Trang province as well, and not far from Ko Muk, so you can take the ferry at Khuan Tung Ku Pier (same pier as Ko Muk) to arrive on Ko Kradan in 50 minutes.
The island has gorgeous white sand beaches and crystal clear water. Many local Trang people said Ko Kradan has the most beautiful beaches in Trang province, which many couples have come to Ko Kradan to get married underwater. I think this could be proof of how beautiful the island is.
However, Ko Kradan doesn’t offer many things to do but chilling on the beaches, watching the sunset, and doing some snorkeling. If these activities are enough for you, then you should put this peaceful paradise island on your bucket list.
20. Ko Libong
Ko Libong is not far from the mainland, about 5 kilometers. You can catch a long-tail boat at Hat Yao Pier to Ko Libong in just 20 minutes (40 baht only), which leaves when full. So usually departing in 1-2 hours. You can hire a private one if you don’t want to wait.
Ko Libong is a home of a herd of more than 30 dugongs (close cousins of the manatee) because the water has an abundance of seagrass, which is the dugong’s main food. The dugong is listed as vulnerable to extinction. The island offers a platform for dugong watching viewpoint (Point Dugongs) and boat tours.
This peaceful island receives much fewer tourists than nearby islands so that you can really experience a traditional local way of life that is uninfluenced by mass tourism. The beach is not the highlight of Ko Libong. It has a decent beach but not as beautiful as Ko Kradan. What makes the island fascinating and pleasant is local islanders’ lives that you can feel more authentic than other islands.
Most accommodations are inexpensive and even cheaper if you choose to stay in a homestay. Typically, homestays also offer local dishes and seafood at a low price (foods are much cheaper here than on other islands). However, if you prefer a more comfortable room, there are still some upper-class hotels available.
21. Ko Tarutao
Tarutao island is part of Tarutao National Park, located in Satun province. The park consists of a group of islands such as Ko Tarutao, Ko Lipe, Ko Adang, Ko Rawi, etc.
Satun doesn’t have an airport, so the best way to come to Ko Tarutao is by taking the plane to Had Yai international airport. Then, take a van at the airport to Pak Bara Pier (almost 2 hours) and take the ferry (speedboat) to Ko Tarutao (1.5 hours)
You should check the latest ferry schedule first. For a brief summary, the ferry departs twice a day at 11:30 and 14:00, but only 11:30 that the ferry will stop at Ko Tarutao.
- For 11:30, Pak Bara Pier >> Ko Tarutao >> Ko Kai >> Ko Lipe
- For 14:00, Pak Bara Pier >> Ko Kai >> Ko Lipe (this one will skip Ko Tarutao)
The island has no luxury hotels, bars, ATM, Air-con, WIFI, numerous restaurants. Therefore, you can expect genuinely natural relaxation, lonely beaches, clear water, caves, hiking trail, waterfalls, biking, and limited electricity.
I found this blogger provides an excellent guide to Ko Tarutao. Visiting Ko Tarutao isn’t that simple because it’s an undeveloped island that makes it the Hidden Gem of Thailand.
You have to know those little details and tips, which will help you get a smooth trip. For example, during the day, there is no electricity. The accommodation is provided by the Department of National Park only, no private hotel.
22. Ko Lipe
Ko Lipe is the southern-most island in Thailand. As mentioned earlier, Ko Lipe is part of Tarutao National Park, but it is more developed. Besides the beautiful nature, Ko Lipe also offers many things such as a wide range of hotels, many restaurants, souvenir shops, convenience stores and a walking street.
The island is relatively small with four major attractions, Pattaya Beach (most popular), Sunset Beach and Sunrise Beach, and Ko Lipe Walking Street. All the beaches have crystal clear water and soft white sand, so it is a must to explore all the beaches.
Snorkeling is a favorite activity when visiting Ko Lipe. There are many tours and routes for a snorkeling trip that you can choose. The tour will take you to several nearby islands, but the most beautiful and colorful coral reefs in the national park are in Ko Jabang.
However, during the rainy season (16th May – 15th October), Ko Lipe is still open for tourists, but most snorkeling spots will be closed except a few spots on the east side of the island.
Typically, tourists will also visit Ko Adang, the opposite island which is remote, underdeveloped and peaceful. You can take any long-tail boat from Ko Lipe to Ko Adang in just 15 minutes (100 baht per person for one way). For the return,
Ko Adang offers quieter beaches and a hiking trail for Ko Lipe Viewpoint. Due to its peaceful and close to Ko Lipe, Ko Adang is an excellent choice to stay a couple nights if you want to break away from the crowd.
